1. Franchise Application

An important step that helps us get to know you better. To proceed to the next stage, the application should be completed in full.

2. Application Review

A Booster Juice Franchise Development Representative will reach out for a pre-screen call to walk you through the process and key steps to becoming a franchise owner.

3. Two-Stage Interview

Approval requires two interviews—one with the franchising team, one with the operations team—to get insight into your approach. A third interview may be added if required.

4. Official Approval

Once approved, you’ll receive an official approval letter outlining the required documents to begin drafting your agreements. We’ll also provide business planning tools to support your due diligence.

5. Review of Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD & Agreement)

We provide both for your review as they contain all essential information about our company, business model, and the franchise relationship. The Disclosure Period is 14 days (if applicable).

6. Take The Leap. Own a Booster Juice

Once the disclosure period ends, signing your Franchise Agreement kicks off site selection and the path to ownership.

7. Program Review

The final step is attending a 2-week training session in Edmonton, AB, where you'll receive hands-on and classroom training.

1. What are the financial requirements to open a Booster Juice franchise?

We require a minimum net worth of CAD $350,000. You’ll also need a minimum amount of CAD $125,000 unencumbered cash to qualify for a Small Business Loan (SBL).

2. What is the cost to acquire a store?

We offer a turnkey franchise package ranging from $399,000 to $455,000. This includes the $30,000 franchise fee, leasehold improvements, equipment, signage, $10,000 opening inventory, and $5,000 towards Grand Opening.

3. What are the royalty and other ongoing fees for a Booster Juice franchise?

The sales royalty is 6% and the advertising and marketing fee is 3.5%.

4. Do I need prior food or business experience?

While helpful, prior experience isn’t required. We provide comprehensive training and support to set you up for success.

5. Will you help me find a location?

Yes! Our team supports you with site selection, lease negotiations, and the store build-out. If you already have a location in mind, feel free to share it—we’re happy to review and assess its potential.

6. Can I own more than one Booster Juice location?

Yes! Multi-unit ownership is possible for qualified candidates.

7. Is Booster Juice available in my area?

Opportunities are available across Canada. Please review the Available Territories section for what’s open in your market.

8. How long does it take to open a store?

Once a site is secured, the franchise agreement is signed, and possession is determined, opening can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on location and construction timelines.

9. What is the term length of the franchise agreement?

The initial term is 10 years, with an option to renew for an additional 5 years.

10. Is financing assistance available?

While we don’t directly provide financing, we can connect you with preferred lenders and resources.
